NanoFoam
I used the KPT Vortex filter and the Organic Edges filters on the original image to get the lacey effect. Then I painted the colors onto the delicate design.
I have been following the progress of Nanotechnology for many years. Back in the 80’s when scientists such as Erik Drexler and Marvin Minsky were writing about this coming technology, most people had not heard of it. Even many scientists thought it was a pipe dream. As with all the tools this amazing technology can be used for constructive as well as destructive purposes: for amazing healing procedures and deadly weapons as well.
