Agglomerated Nano Particles-824 viewsUsing beads and small marbles wrapped with conductive knitted fabric which was sewn and manipulated before being plated copper. The beads and marbles were then removed.

Cell Group-771 viewsThis work is informed by images describing nanostructures that can exhibit complex electronic properties. The interleaved structures are assembled using two contrasting industrial materials, an industrial non woven and a conductive shielding fabric. I am seeking to describe an internal energy and create shadows by the light falling on and through it, revealing both absence and presence. The work was plated copper and then with nickel.

After Anchored-870 viewsTwo types of shielding fabric were cut and shredded then sewn together to make platelets formed with the addition of conductive fibers and electroplated. I made four of slightly different proportions. Once plated it is colored with heat and then stretched fabric and pre expanded polystyrene granules are added with a glue gun.

Nano Glass-871 viewsIndustrial non woven fabric plated copper then painted with enamel paint sandwiched between glass and fired. The gasses emitted during the firing contribute to some of the auras, which contribute to the patterning and design.

Nano Landscape-850 viewsDistressed (ladderd) thermoplastic fabric fused to copper shielding fabric which acts as a resist the plated and patinated.
