Another World-746 viewsUsing many edit tools of Photoshop Elements 6 I kept changing the image until I was satisfied with it. There were many repetitions using the following tools: paint bucket, different selection brushes, fresco filter, watercolor filter all intertwining with Cris Orfescu’s beautiful grey image. I like to leave pieces of his image showing to reveal this is a true collaboration. His image is called Nanocolibri.
NanoArt is a very joyful process. The images made are completely new and fresh and different from other work I do….surprises and accidents are happy ones.

Breakup!-726 viewsUsing Photoshop Elements 6 and the Nanocolibri seed image I used the magic wand repeatedly in tandem with the paint bucket, different brush sizes and the marquee tool…leaving bits of grey.

Calm and Chaos-746 viewsUsing the Nanocolibri seed image and Photoshop Elements 6 tools I used the magic wand, different sized brushes and the paint bucket to fill in the colors. This is a depiction of life as it is…one moment peaceful, the next hectic always moving from one to the other.
NanoArt gives the artist an opportunity to share everyday feelings and get relief from doing so. It’s a happy and releasing experience.

The Underworld-2907 viewsUsing the Nanocolibri image and Photoshop Elements 6 I created this very sad picture as a result of certain things in my life. It was a relief to do it. I love the beautiful greys Orfescu chose for this image. I like the collaboration as a whole. I used the marquee tool, paint bucket and several brushes to gain the effect of sadness.
NanoArt has been a wonderful experience for me, having participated in the shows in Finland and Germany. I would recommend working with it to all artists.

Tints and Tones-2916 viewsApplying Photoshop Elements 6 to the seed image I used the lasso tool over and over again filling the colors with the paint bucket, several brushes, and the elliptical tool to form the shapes around the original image…contrasting the colors with shades of grey.
NanoArt is very interesting to create because the possibilities are endless. It is a joyful process.
